What is Calendar Pro?

Calendar Pro is a collaborative calendar for Microsoft Teams. Search for Calendar Pro on Appsource or Teams Store, add it into a channel or chat, and start using your shared calendar.

TeamsPro is a catalog of Microsoft Teams Apps that personalizes your Teams and adapts it to your organization’s needs. Calendar Pro is one of the applications of the catalog.

With the Premium version, you can create recurrent events, print the calendar, add more than three resources, and have Premium support.

It depends on what use you will give. Suppose you need to add recurrent events and more than three resources, definitively Premium. For basic usage, the free version will do it.

We recommend starting with the free version to assess your needs and then upgrade the Calendar Pro to Premium.

Using Calendar Pro

How can I give editing permission to a certain team member?

To change the editing permission, you must be the owner of the Calendar Pro. The owner is the person who first installed the Calendar Pro. As the owner, click on the drop-down arrow next to the name of your Calendar Pro. Then, select “Settings.” In Settings, change the “Security mode” to “All users can create and edit” or “Only me can create”.

  • All users can create and edit means that all users in the channel or chat where Calendar Pro is installed can create and edit events.
  • "Only me can create means that only the calendar owner can create and edit events."

We are making Calendar Pro permissions more flexible for the next update, share ownership, or restrict certain users.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do here. It is one of the restrictions of Microsoft Teams. We have escalated this issue to Microsoft, and we hope they will resolve it soon.

If you imperatively need to see your calendar on mobile. We recommend adding it to the General channel. We found out it is the only channel that displays on mobile.

Calendar Pro allows to change the starting day of the week (Sunday/Monday) and to change the type of view (Month/Week/Day).

  • To change the starting day of the week. Make sure that you are the owner of the calendar. Only the owner can change the configuration. Click on the drop-down arrow next to the name of your Calendar Pro. Then, select “Settings.” In Settings, change the “First day of the week” from Sunday to Monday or vice versa.
  • To change the default view type. Again, make sure to be the owner, as only the owner can change the configuration. Click on the drop-down arrow next to the name of your Calendar Pro. Then, select “Settings”. In Settings, change the “Default display mode”, you have three options: month, week, day.

This feature is only available for Premium users. You will need to upgrade your calendar to enable the option. If you are already a Premium user, you will find the new event window option right under the dates.

To print your calendar, you need to be a Premium user. Once you are a Premium user, you will find the option when clicking on the three dots next to the “Month” button—top right of the Calendar Pro window.

How does the pricing work?

The price is $0.99 calendar/month, or $11.5 calendar/year. If your organization is using a significant number of calendars, we recommend subscribing to the TeamsPro catalog. TeamsPro subscription offers an unlimited number of Calendar Pro Premium and access to the other apps. Price starts at $0.99 per user/month. Contact us to receive more information.

We use Chargebee’s secure payment systems, which allows us to accept credit card payments. We can only accept credit or debit cards as a form of payment at this time for Calendar Pro plans.

Yes, for every transaction, an invoice will be generated and sent to the email used to create the Calendar Pro.
